14 year old boy and his brother 'murdered stepfather in knife attack so cruel he was almost beheaded'

14 year old Jerome Ellis and his brother Joshua deny murdering Neil Tulley at the family home in Guildford last year.

Jerome Ellis and his older brother stabbed their stepfather to death in an attack so frenzied he was almost decapitated, a court has heard.

Joshua Ellis, 23, and Jerome Ellis, 14, had deny murder at Guildford Crown Court.

They are accused of killing Neil Tulley, 54, who was in a relationship with their mother Marie, at the family home in Guildford, Surrey, between August 11 and 14, 2013.

He was found with 65 separate injuries and a post-mortem examination confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds.
