Arsenal reclaims the top spot of the Premier League table after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The England midfielder Alex Oxlade Chamberlain regained fitness following five months out with a serious knee injury suffered on the first day of the season - finally ended Palace's stubborn resistance when he chipped in a fine pass from Santi Cazorla just after the restart.
Man of the Match: Oxlade-Chamberlain was given a chance in central midfield, and responded with a fine display capped by a winning double.
Crystal Palace Keeper Julian Speroni, the save of the match flew across his goal to keep out Koscielny's flicked header with a one-handed parry. Arsenal Keeper Szczesny alsomade a brave save to deny Jerome's close-range header, and Arsenal went on to close out the win.
Arsenal now move two points above Manchester City, who host third-placed Chelsea on Monday night, while the Eagles remain in a dogfight for survival, just a point above 18th-placed West Ham.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had recalled both Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lukas Podolski into the starting XI from Tuesday night's frustrating 2-2 draw at Southampton, but there was no place in the squad for deadline-day loan arrival Kim Kallstrom, the Sweden midfielder out with a back problem.
