The 80 year old Controversial comedian Joan Rivers caused a stir when she called Kim Kardashian's baby ''ugly'' during a recent stand-up routine.
The Fashion Police star said that seven-month-old North West was ''desperately in need of a waxing.''
Joan explained that she had met the infant when her mother brought her to the offices of the E! television network.
''That baby is ugly...I've never seen a six-month-old so desperately in need of a waxing,'' she said during the show according to RadarOnline.com.
When Kim initially revealed the smiling face of her little bundle of joy in December, the new mum was inundated with comments about her child's dark eyebrows.
Twitter users accused her of waxing her baby's eyebrows so they would look perfectly groomed.
Responding to the claims she joked, ''do people really think I would wax my daughters eyebrows so young? Come on! I'd wait until she's at least 2 1/2!''
I'm kidding!!! It's pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughter's eyebrows. They are thick, natural and amazing,'' she tweeted.
Kim and her rapper fiance Kanye West were spotted strolling around Paris on Sunday and have not responded to the comedian's comments.
The couple are said to be choosing possible wedding venues in the city.
The reality star wore a chic black leather polo-neck top and velvet midi skirt, all teamed with a gold clutch.
The mum-of-one revealed more adorable pictures of her cute daughter when she was interviewed by chat show host Ellen DeGeneres last week.
The proud mum showed the world snaps of her giggling baby dressed in a grey baby playsuit and bow hairbands.
During the show she spoke about her difficult pregnancy and how protective Kanye is of his daughter.
